I am a Professor and Director of the Interaction & Media Sciences \u00a0Lab<\/a> within the Department of Teaching & Learning\u00a0at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas<\/a>.\u00a0As a behavioral scientist\u00a0interested in the intersection of human-computer interaction (HCI) and socioemotional development; my research focuses on how principles of\u00a0HCI can be applied to the creation of technology-based\u00a0psychoeducational assessments and interventions, particularly in the areas of\u00a0aggression and\u00a0social skills development.<\/p>\n

I am a member of\u00a0the American Psychological Association<\/a> (APA) and\u00a0American Educational Research Association<\/a> (AERA). I am an Associate Editor for the International Journal of Gaming and Computer-Mediated Simulations<\/a>\u00a0and review for such journals as Computers in Human Behavior<\/a>, Interacting with Computers<\/a>, and Media Psychology<\/a>.\u00a0If you are interested in finding out more information regarding our\u00a0programs, my research, or anything else, please don’t hesitate to reach out.<\/p>\n
